Was quite the year for us! Two years in and we are seeing great success! Trophies and international opportunities are just part of it.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS 2023
Women's
- Our women's team won the East African Cup against teams from neighboring countries. Rose Mimi, (15) striker, was named as the leading scorer in the tournament!
- Mimi's performance led to an invitation to try out for a Zambian professional team's academy!
- The women's team is currently participating in the U20 Regional Women's League
Men's
- The U20 and U17 men's teams were invited to participate in the 2024 Mayors Cup (aka Zuberi Cup)!
- The U20 men's team placed third after securing the victory in the consolation match. Finished 3rd out of 44 total teams!
- 6 of our U20 players received job opportunities as referees. They completed there training and now referee!
- The U20 men's team placed 3rd in the Kilimanjaro Regional League
- The U17 men's team is currently playing in the U17 Kilimanjaro Regional U17 League
- The U13 men's team will be participating in the Moshi District League this year.
- Six of the boys completed and received a certification for English proficiency for a local university. This was possible due to training with our English teacher Gabriel.
- Kidanka Jummane (17) qualified for the U17 national team!
- Kidanka Jummane, Haji Said, Mahamed Wawa, Beta Abdala, and Praygood Nederingo all secured contract extensions for the professional team Moshi Warriors (plays in 2nd Division).
- Oscar Yorgo and George Malibiche secured contract extensions for the professional team Moshi's Policia (plays in 1st division)
Both
- Both our men's and women's players were invited to play in Malbec, Germany. This allowed them to play against teams from England, France, Morocco, Tunisia, Romania, and Germany.
- We started several new secondary teams to expand the amount of kids that could play for us and develop youth from even younger ages.
